Kaitlyn Peake joined CMLA in the spring of 2020 as a Project Manager. Prior to joining CMLA, Kaitlyn studied horticulture and ethnobotany at the Blue Wind School of Botanical Medicine. Her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to connect with clients was recognized by both Carson and Susan Joy. CMLA is proud to stand behind Kaitlyn as Chief Executive Officer as of January 2022. Her ability to solve complex problems and translate designs to the built environment has helped to ensure the company’s success. Kaitlyn takes pride in overseeing all projects from start to finish – don’t be surprised if you see her supervising a concrete pour. In her spare time, Kaitlyn enjoys going on local adventures with her daughter and seeing live music.

Dan Cooper joined CMLA in the spring of 2023 as CFO. Prior to joining CMLA, Dan has held multiple CFO roles and worked in a variety of industries for companies of all sizes. He brings a passion for adding process, structure, and discipline to the small company environment that enables CMLA to provide the best product possible. He is a CPA and graduate of Tennessee Technical University where he earned his MBA. Dan is a Tennessee native and has lived in the UK while in the Navy. Outside of the office, Dan enjoys spending time with his 17-year-old son and 20-year-old daughter.

Katie Gregory joined CMLA in the spring of 2020 as a Landscape Designer. In the spring of 2023, she was promoted to Design Studio Director and enjoys collaborating with CMLA’s clients to bring their goals for their landscapes to life. Katie earned her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia in 2018, and has practiced in Atlanta her entire career, cultivating an appreciation for traditional Southern landscapes. Katie’s passion for the built environment extends beyond her professional life – when she is not at work, you can find her hiking some of the country’s most scenic landscapes with her husband who is also a Landscape Architect.

Ginger Gray

Design Project Manager

Ginger Gray joined CMLA in the fall of 2020 as a Landscape Designer. After a brief hiatus to pursue work in the commercial sector, Ginger returned to CMLA and was promoted to Design Project Manager in the spring of 2023. She is currently responsible for overseeing projects both in-town and throughout the Southeast and particularly enjoys utilizing her attention to detail and knowledge of construction in her work. Ginger earned her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia in 2019 and practiced in Los Angeles and Boca Raton before returning to her native Atlanta. When Ginger’s not at work, you can find her exploring her historic Atlanta neighborhood or laying on her front porch reading a book.

Having received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, Mitch’s affinity for the outdoors led him to pursue a career in the construction project management sector of the company. Mitch oversees the installation of our projects, helps to facilitate subcontractor coordination, and works to ensure projects are closed out in a timely manner. In his spare time, Mitch enjoys hunting and fly-fishing trips.

Greg Stewart

Estimation Project Manager & Horticulturalist

Greg Stewart joined CMLA in the fall of 2022 as a Construction Project Manager and Estimator. After graduating from the University of Georgia in 2000 with a degree in Agricultural Science, he furthered his education by becoming an ISA Certified Arborist in 2013. Greg has spent the last two decades working within the landscape industry in both Colorado and Georgia for various nurseries, arborists, and design-build companies. His diverse background lends itself to assisting with our shop management, material ordering logistics, and detailed construction estimation. Greg’s passion for the outdoors extends beyond his professional life – in his free time, he enjoys staying active by hunting, fishing, or skiing.

Greg Stewart

Estimation Project Manager & Horticulturalist

Greg Stewart joined CMLA in the fall of 2022 as a Construction Project Manager and Estimator. Anna Testa

Director of Garden Maintenance & Design

Anna Testa joined CMLA in the summer of 2016 as a garden designer. In the winter of 2021, she was promoted to the role of Director of Garden Design and Maintenance. In this capacity, she guides her team in the meticulous ongoing care and horticultural maintenance of clients’ gardens. She designs CMLA’s Perennial, herbaceous, and vegetable gardens including container compositions. Anna also provides oversight to resolve design complexities and ensure quality control across projects.

While pursuing her Horticulture degree at the University of Georgia, she actively participated in various local gardening and farm projects throughout her college years. Upon graduation, she ventured into nursery management in Atlanta, discovering a deep love for the industry. Certified as a Plant Professional by the Georgia Green Industry Association, her enthusiasm for horticulture extends into her personal life. During her free time, Anna delights in tending to her cut flower and dahlia garden.

Jesse Kirlin joined CMLA in the spring of 2021 as a Maintenance Team Lead. In the Fall of 2022, he was promoted to Garden Maintenance Manager, where he now directs and manages teams to care for clients’ landscapes, as well as maintaining our installation fleet. Jesse graduated from the University of Georgia in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture and moved to Atlanta after having worked on Augusta National’s plant health care team. In his free time, Jesse enjoys playing golf and hanging out with his pets.

Lawn Maintenance Manager

Dawn Pariseau joined CMLA in the summer of 2022 and has over 30 years of landscape maintenance management experience. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine from Keene State College but decided to follow her passion for plants after graduating. Dawn is a member of the Northeast Organic farming association as well as the Connecticut Landscaping and Nursery Association. Dawn is responsible for overseeing CMLA’s lawn maintenance department and has been responsible for overseeing the crews that care for almost 100 properties.
